ai& Inc., a vertically integrated global AI technology company headquartered in Yokohama, Kanagawa, Japan, and Tomorrow Net Co., Ltd. (headquartered in Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo; President & CEO: Lee Chang-Jin) today announced that they have entered into a business alliance to provide generative AI and AI/IT infrastructure solutions for enterprise customers.

A growing number of enterprises are evaluating generative AI, yet many initiatives stall at the proof-of-concept (PoC) stage and fail to take root in real business operations — a challenge widely referred to as the "PoC wall." At the same time, enterprises face stringent security requirements, industry-specific regulations, and high expectations for stable operations, all of which call for a framework capable of designing and operating AI applications and the underlying infrastructure that supports them in an integrated manner.

Through this alliance, the two companies will establish an integrated support structure spanning the design and construction of AI inference environments, the implementation of generative AI in business processes, production operations, and continuous improvement. By doing so, the partnership aims to move enterprise AI initiatives beyond PoCs toward sustained adoption in real business operations and continuous value creation, accelerating the social implementation of AI.

Overview of the Joint Solution

Through this alliance, the two companies will deliver an integrated solution that supports flexible deployment configurations, including on-premises, closed (private) networks, hybrid, and public cloud environments.

  • High-performance, energy-efficient AI inference platform — Leveraging ai&'s inference platform, which delivers high inference performance and availability, the partnership will build a foundation supporting the stable operation of generative AI and AI agents.

  • Advanced AI agent integration (CAT.AI) — Leveraging AI agent technologies including Tomorrow Net's conversational AI service "CAT.AI," the partnership will pursue advanced automation tailored to specific business scenarios.

  • Enterprise-grade 24/7 operations — The companies will establish SLA designs, performance evaluation processes, and around-the-clock monitoring and improvement frameworks suited for production use, aiming to provide a reliable AI foundation capable of supporting mission-critical operations.

Future Outlook

Going forward, under the framework of this business alliance, the two companies plan to extend their solutions across a broad range of fields, including manufacturing, financial services, the public sector, energy, telecommunications, and IT services. In parallel, the companies will pursue joint efforts on themes such as power efficiency, secure closed-network configurations, business automation leveraging large-scale RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), and the development of industry-specific AI agents, with the aim of advancing AI solutions that enterprises can confidently deploy in production.

Comments from the Companies' Representative

David Bennett, Co-Founder & CEO, ai& Inc

"Most enterprises we talk to aren't short on AI ambition. They're short on the infrastructure and expertise to make it stick beyond a pilot. That's exactly the gap this partnership is designed to close. By combining ai&'s inference solution with Tomorrow Net's implementation expertise, we believe we can give enterprises in Japan a reliable, end-to-end path to running AI in production, not just testing it."

Lee Chang-Jin, President & CEO, Tomorrow Net Co., Ltd.

"Generative AI is being widely evaluated across many enterprises, yet many initiatives still fail to advance from the PoC stage to deployment in real business operations. Through this partnership with ai&, we are very encouraged to be able to build a structure that delivers AI infrastructure, AI agents, and business implementation as an integrated whole. By combining Tomorrow Net's AI technologies with ai&'s high-performance AI inference platform, we will create an environment where enterprises can leverage AI with confidence, supporting the acceleration of AI's social implementation and the improvement of business efficiency."
